About us DigiTales is all about telling your story in a digital format. Obviously we enjoy what we do or we wouldn’t be doing it!     Alexander Laurenson I was born in Christchurch and have lived in various parts of the South Island during my school years. While my focus is more on the technical side, I have been known to pick up a pencil or pastels and let my creative side show in my spare time.     Monique Baars Although born in the Netherlands I am definitely a Kiwi (with a Dutch sense of humour). I had my first (albeit point and shoot) camera while growing up in Golden Bay. A trip to Antarctica while studying botany at University only piqued my interest further with the investment in my first 'real' SLR. Moving to video seemed a logical progression ...		About us continued... We met while Monique was studying at University and Alexander was the one doing the real work. Several years later (when everyone had given up asking) we organised a surprise wedding, and the rest they say is history. We are now happily living our suburban lifestyle in Christchurch, enjoying using our creativity producing videos and occasionally going on extended overseas holidays - taking a video camera with us of course! As a husband and wife team we understand the commitment you are making to each other on your day and feel privileged to be part of it. Our philosophy is to treat every wedding as special and unique, while emphasising the personality of your day.
