FAQs
Below is a selection of questions we are
commonly asked. If your question is not listed here please
contact us.
Can
we see some samples of your work?
Can we see some samples
of work?
There are some samples of our work available on
this website. You are welcome to visit us to
discuss your day and we can show you further examples of our work.
How long does it take before we receive our DVD?
We are a boutique wedding video business - not a
mass production studio. Each DVD is distinctly different so that
it reflects each couple and their wedding. Be assured that we will
make every effort to finish your DVD as soon as we are able without
compromising on quality.
Is the edited DVD exactly 30 minutes?
This is just an approximate length. Each wedding
is unique, which means that the length of your DVD depends on what
actually happens on the day. Our aim is to get a good representation
of what your day was all about - whether this takes 29 minutes to
tell or 45 minutes.
Is
the whole DVD set to music?
Only the preparations, photo shoot, guest and
dance segments are set to music where original audio is not a necessity - and
where appropriate we will remix in a comment or two captured during
filming. Audio is carefully captured during the ceremony and
speeches - these are after all essential elements!
Can we choose our own music?
Of course you can - it is after all your day! We
will discuss your choice of music with you when we meet. Mostly the
music used on the day will be incorporated into your DVD, unless you
wish to have something different. If you prefer us to choose we can
include appropriate music based on your personalities and the atmosphere of
the day.
Do you use lights during the ceremony?
We pride ourselves on being as unobtrusive as
possible. This means that we do not use extra lighting. If your
photographer can take a photograph then we will have enough light
available to operate our video cameras.
Do we need to provide you with a meal at the reception?
You do not need to worry about us - we tend to
look after ourselves, although we won’t say no to a nice meal
either! |

Why
should we have a videographer when we already have a photographer?
A photographer captures a moment in time - a
good videographer will capture the movement and sound, therefore
portraying the emotions, feelings and atmosphere of your day. Using
a professional also allows your guests to enjoy your celebration
unhindered.
Do you do photographs as well?
NOOOOOO!! We specialise in producing video. We
have tried and found that it is impossible to look down the lens of
a still camera and a video camera at the same time.
Do you only work with particular photographers?
We work with a variety of photographers and will
work with whomever you have chosen. Obviously if you like them and
their work and that is all that is important to us!
Why
should we book you over another videographer?
Because you like the quality of our work. You
should choose a videographer based on their skills, style and
personality - after all a videographer will be around for most of
the day at your wedding.
How does the booking process work?
When you first contact us let us know your date
and we will advise you if the date is still available. Be aware that
we work on a first booked in, first served basis whereby a booking
is confirmed with a deposit. We will only take one booking per day
as it is important to us that our customers have our full attention
and without time constraints.
How much deposit do you require?
A deposit of $200 will secure your booking.
What type of equipment do you use?
Our cameras are professional 3 CCD cameras and
therefore produce a higher quality image than a home handycam, and
are operated by people who have years of experience in filming
weddings. Along with this we use a professional microphone system
during the ceremony and reception to ensure the sound is as good as
possible. Back in the office everything is edited using professional
software. All our equipment is upgraded as new technology becomes
available so that your DVD is the best possible.
